Families For Addiction Recovery
Charity Programs
Families for Addiction Recovery (FAR) operates a parent-to-parent peer support program which provides peer support by parents with lived experience for parents whose children are struggling with addiction. FAR has developed a website (farcanada.org) which provides extensive educational materials about understanding addiction, treatment for substance use disorder (SUD), support for families and other issues involving SUD. FAR has established Facebook and Twitter social media acounts to educate families and the general public in matters respecting SUD.
