Charity Programs
1. Settlement Services: Provides information, referral, and orientation services to assist immigrants and refugees with understanding, participating in and settling into Canada. 2. Language Instructions: English Language classes from basic to advanced levels, including child-minding services and family literacy programming. 3. Employment Access Services: Job search assistance and support; specialized training for internationally trained medical professionals. 4. Refugee Sponsorship Training Program: Support sponsors in the Private Sponsorship of Refugees Program. 5. Women Support Services: For immigrant women experiencing domestic (...) violence. 6. Local Immigration Partnership: Collaborative Immigrant Service Planning 7. Mental Health Project: Development of training curriculum for settlement sector to enhance staff ability to help newcomers who are experience mental health problems.
