Charity Programs
The purpose of the Canadian Chinese Society for the Arts is to advance the public's appreciation of the arts by producing Chinese and Western Classical music presentations and performance events for the public and by providing a forum for qualified artists to exhibit, present, or perform their artistic works through participation in such events; to advance musical education and to undertake activities incidental to the attainment of the above. To that end, the Canadian Chinese Society for the Arts orchestra and soloists produced a major concert event featuring Western and Chinese classical music, on a variety of Western and Chinese traditional instruments, performed at Koerner Hall in Toronto in January 2018.
